The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings their own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents.

Hybrid Position:
This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs.

Sr Manager, Media Operations

The Sr Manager, Marketing Operations guides the application of capabilities, processes, structures, and technologies to cost-effectively measure and scale the interactivity, targeting, personalization, and optimization of digital marketing channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Govern consistent tagging and taxonomy across marketing channels to facilitate holistic measurement and reporting
- Oversee the AdTech infrastructure and ad serving needs to create consistent workflows for measurement and accelerate reporting cadence
- QA data sent and received from our measurement partner
- Set protocols for evaluating and piloting new AdTech, including inter-operability with the existing marketing stack
- Gather implementation specs for new opportunities to facilitate implementation by the tech team. Work with marketing teams to develop business opportunity to support implementation priority. Monitor progress though to implementation
- Aggregate creative tagging and taxonomy to allow for consistent measurement and streamline content development
- Creating a tagging system in our CMS to quickly identify content and performance metrics of existing content against various audiences
- Participate in QA process to ensure that final builds are to spec before sharing with channel leads/media partners
- Work with media partners and in-house counsel to secure data sharing agreements and privacy compliance
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 5-7 years of experience in ad/marketing ops
- Deep understanding of KPIs related to marketing channels, marketing/ad technology and relationship to marketing processes
- Understanding of the Campaign Lifecycle, and experience developing workflows associated with closed loop measurement
- Familiarity with popular adtech platforms
- Google Marketing Platform (Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, Google Analytics), affiliate tech (Impact), LiveRamp/Neustar/Hightouch
- Curiosity about the next generation of popular AdTech platforms or technology innovations
- Know/write SQL queries
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with cross-functional teams
