What You Will Achieve
You will help Pfizer ensure that all the production and packaging machinery is up and running. You will be relied on to conduct preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of our machinery. You will also perform specification checks and help interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications. You will determine the sequence of operations and method of setup as well as assess the requirements of material, parts and equipment.
Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

- Operate production machines whenever needed.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and professional manner.
- Train departmental colleagues to enhance departmental cross-training and capability for new or existing processing equipment.
- Perform special projects as directed by the Supervisor.
- Able to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth production operations.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years of experience
- Certification in assigned area, if applicable
- Demonstrated trouble shooting capability on production equipment, including all electrical, transmission and gear drive repairs
- Extensive generalist experience will be considered
- Applies mechanical and electrical skills and in depth knowledge of the manufacturing cells utilities and systems in the installation and qualification of equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Indicate any physical or mental requirements necessary for the performance of an essential function of this particular role. Stand up to 8-12 hours per shift, twist at waist 20 times per hour, regularly lift up to 35 pounds per activity 20 times per shift, occasionally lift a maximum of 50 pounds per activity 10 times per shift, occasionally may lift over 50 pounds with assistance, walk, climb stairs, climb ladders/walk on catwalks, repetitive use of upper extremities.
Use computer terminal 2 hours per shift, respond to visual warning indicators, respond to audible indicators, respond to color or special visual indicators, work around moving equipment, work on knees occasionally, wear specialized protective clothing, wear PPE (safety shoes/glasses/etc), work in a hot or cold environment, work in hearing conservation area,
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
0% travel is required for the role. Primarily will work 7p-7a, 3/2/2 schedule. May require OT and work on non-scheduled days given production.
