Position Summary:
Command Cyber Solutions (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified IT Project Manager in support of client located at Hill AFB, Utah.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, human resource requirements, work plans, time schedules, communication plans, and work assignments to meet project or program objectives.
• The IT Project Manager shall be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, controlling and communicating on all phases of a project (technical, workflow, and/or general office management processes).
• Assist with planning projects along with stakeholders, the Sustainment Lead Project Manager, Onboarding Lead Project Manager, and subject matter experts.
• Set project goals and develop a plan to reach those goals.
• Manage resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.
• Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate meetings/working sessions to discuss project goals and progress, as well as help ensure timely results of milestones and deliverables.
• Provide ongoing status reporting.
• Report on milestones as appropriate, report whether all tasks and deliverables are being met.
Education, Certification & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience
• Must possess two or more years of experience
• Must possess Active Secret
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION (only one required):
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SCRUM Alliance
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM) SCRUM.org
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
• Understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies.
• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions that deal directly/indirectly with the Information Technology discipline.
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands
• Basic office work environment at government facility location
• Hours of operation are M-F between 0600-1800.
• Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
• Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
