Our Role:

We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a senior Relationship Manager role within our Technology Solutions Group. The role involves managing the relationship with one of our largest vendors, BlackRock Solutions, and our businesses usage of Blackrock’s Aladdin platform. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership and driving change across the organization. Your experience and industry knowledge will help drive the long-term vision for the existing Relationship Management team and enable the business to maintain our competitive edge. What You Will Do :

  • Relationship owner for one of PGIM Fixed Incomes strategic vendor partners, Blackrock Solutions, and their Aladdin platform. Managing day to day relationship management for both strategic initiatives and priority BAU services
  • Partner with business teams across the organization to define the roles/responsibilities and the future operating model of the existing relationship management team
  • Manage communication of the future operating model with all business and technology senior stakeholders
  • Prioritize and represent programs of work on behalf of the business and assess quality of outcomes for cross functional clients including Front/Middle Office, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk & Legal
  • Successfully manage vendor relationship by establishing appropriate governance and oversight programs to monitor vendor performance, delivery and relationship health
  • Initiate business process reviews and workflow changes, while working directly with business partners and internal technology teams when applicable
  • Work closely with Blackrock Solutions, understand the full capabilities of their Aladdin application and ensure the Fixed Income business is leveraging the platform as best possible
  • Manage and drive key deliverables with BlackRock Solutions through meaningful metrics
  • Manage BlackRock Solutions priorities through a Centralized Book of Work, including any dependencies within the PGIM Fixed Income Technology Organization
  • Drive accountability with Blackrock Solutions as per agreed SLA’s for BAU support services
  • Align to industry and technology trends to drive superior outcomes for our business partners

Your Required Skills:

  • 12 years’ experience in vendor management/relationship management/project management, preferably within a cross-functional Asset Management organization
  • Hands on experience implementing an Enterprise Buy-Side Order Management System, such as BlackRock Aladdin or Charles River (CRD) is required
  • Experience and working knowledge of the Aladdin platform is required
  • Strong Fixed Income product knowledge with a sound understanding of front office and middle office workflows is required
  • Experience managing multiple projects and vendors is required
  • Excellent relationship management experience, able to carefully manage business expectations with pragmatic and realistic technology solutions/delivery
  • A hunger for continuous improvement, constantly looking for opportunities to improve upon the status quo
  • Drive to improve the overall experience for our business clients when using the Aladdin Platform and when interfacing with Blackrock Solutions teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Hands on experience using SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment a plus
  • Experience with setting technology strategy in alignment with business priorities; able to guide and balance both technology and business delivery in line with industry best-of-breed solutions.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

The salary range for this role is from $175,000 to $230,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
