What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Scientist - Antibody Discovery position at Pharma People?
Our Biotechnology client is currently seeking a Senior Scientist to join their drug discovery team to support their Antibody discovery platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work together with teams to identify and generate key reagents needed for target validation and antibody campaigns.
- Build LIMS and lab as team grows
- Help oversee CROs and interface with partners
- Collaborate with project teams to support development of screening funnels and assays to enable hit-to-lead identification
- Build and implement analytical methods to allow assessment, including affinity measurements, and Developability characterization
Qualifications:
- Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field with 3 years of industry experience
- PhD in relevant field preferred
- Experience with antibody discovery platforms
- Experience with in vivo immunization and in vitro display approach
- CRO management
- Verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to use silico tools for developability screening, antibody engineering and Laboratory Information management system (LIMS)
