Delivery Dispatch Leader

At  Medly | Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, we believe in providing customized shopping experiences, building relationships with our clientele and working collaboratively across all store functions. We proudly operate 29 boutique drug stores across six different states and employ over 500 top tier Pharmacists, Practitioners and Managers. 

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Leader to lead our growing fleet of dispatchers and drivers. In collaboration with the logistics manager, you’ll help to develop a strong team of delivery professionals responsible for ensuring speedy and accurate delivery of medications to patients throughout the local community. 

What you’ll do:

• Partner with the logistics manager and recruitment team to interview, hire and train a team of drivers, dispatchers and support associates

• Report into and work closely with the senior leader of delivery on delivery coordination and routing strategies.

• Monitor the routing and dispatching of deliveries, ensuring an efficient delegation of duties and assisting in a hands on capacity as needed

• Problem-solve challenges and implement solutions

• Utilize coaching to manage team performance and develop leaders

What you’ll need:

• 2 or more years of experience overseeing the routing, coordinating and dispatching of deliveries in a fast-paced environment

• Proven leadership skills

• Good knowledge of local neighborhoods, roads and highways

• Stellar communication skills

• Computer literacy

• Attention to detail

• Ability to multitask
