PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists.
We are looking for an energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally.
We are looking for the person that desires to organize, lead, and manage when called upon.
Previous retail or LTC experience preferred but not required.

- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary.
- Assist with phone calls, as necessary.
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers’ orders.
- Adhere with all compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Job Summary:
The Pharmacist is a licensed professional who is responsible for providing safe and appropriate pharmacy services to Pharmcare patients/residents in accordance with the policies and procedures of Pharmcares current pharmacy practice professional standards, and other regulatory entities.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary
- Assist with phone calls as necessary
- Manage the staffing schedule to meet the needs of the pharmacy
- Oversee proper inventory management and medication ordering
- Assist with and oversee Medication Returns and E-Kit management
- Develop and supervise medication management systems to ensure that adequate supplies of medications are available to meet resident care needs, stored under appropriate and secure conditions, delivered to residents in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, and labeled appropriately.
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers orders
- Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians licenses to maintain a current status
- Complete all required administrative tasks in a timely manner, including new hire and payroll processes
- Adhere with all compliance requirements
- Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate
Job Specifications:
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain required Continuing Education credits
- Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment up to 100% of the time;
- Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
- Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
- This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
- Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
- Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medications
