Job Description:

 

The Sales Manager position is responsible for the acquisition, growth and retention of clients and revenue via the management of a sales team. P3MC is looking for a Sales Manager in our Nashville, Tennessee office to play a critical role in developing and managing a team of hungry yet collaborative sales professionals eager to meet and exceed goals. You will act as a subject matter expert for the team on our integrated services, to apply financial and business acumen to producing sales forecasts, setting productivity benchmarks, and contributing to a sales strategy which results you will be accountable for. You will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top-tier sales talent and maintaining performance through coaching the team in up selling and generating new sales. Your role as a Sales Manager is to manage the day-to-day tasks and goals and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of communication and operational customer service through your team. The Sales Manager fulfills a vital role handling different kinds of scenarios that arise in the day-to-day, and ultimately drives the sales team to develop further. Once an opportunity has been identified, the Sales Manager's job is to lead his/her team to act on it through proper analysis, planning, and execution. This position will report directly to Holly Quinn, SVP of Sales.

 


Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Leads a team that identifies and develops new client business opportunities and new revenue generation
  • Candidate must have tremendous relationship building skills, advanced sales, managerial, training, teaching and leadership skills; and the ability to conduct senior level new business presentations
  • Works well in a very fast paced, deadline-oriented environment; have strong organizational, negotiating and problem-solving skills; must have very good attention to detail; and must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment
  • Able to hire and provide on-going training and support to new and tenured sales reps
  • Required to provide prospective client consultation and pricing and have expert knowledge of all Phase 3 Marketing & Communications products and services and internal systems and procedures


Job Requirements: 

 

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/account management experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience is ideal
  • Must be a seasoned business developer, a strategically minded marketer and a brand management expert with senior experience in integrated marketing that has the aptitude and desire to organically generate new client revenue and promote the overall growth of Phase 3 Marketing & Communications
  • Must be an expert in conducting new business pitches
  • Responsible for hiring and managing a high performing sales and business development team that is focused on achieving sales and service metrics
  • Leadership: Lead a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring
  • Fosters a sense of energy, ownership and personal commitment
  • Responsible for the overall growth of revenue while maintaining company EBITDA margins. 
  • Leverage ideas and best practices from the team to ensure results
  • Creating a culture of consultative selling with an emphasis on developing ongoing professional relationships with top customers
  • Accountable for results within the Print & Marketing Logistics, and Agency Services divisions. 
  • Role model / Coach to the sales team for expected selling behaviors and service standards
  • Displays an exemplary positive attitude at all times
