What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Electronic Repair and Test Technician position at Phase Technologies?
We are hiring a Power Electronics Repair and Test Technician who has technical acumen, common sense, and basic assembly / electrical knowledge to join our team.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Generate RMA documents based on RMA requests received from customers.
- Diagnose problems related to returned products, including problem identification, evaluation of symptoms, identification of potential causes, and resolution.
- Populate diagnostic reports and generate repair quotes.
- Perform or coordinate repair activities.
- Troubleshoot issues to the component level and evaluate RMA field returns.
- Track and monitor trends related to product defects or failures.
- Document incoming and outgoing RMA shipments.
- Monitor repair status and prioritize work scheduling to attain established lead times.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure the RMA process operates efficiently from receiving the product until the product is returned to the customer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of power electronics diagnosis and repair.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to process transactions in an ERP system.
- Ability to read and interpret product electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
PAY:
$19 DOE
