THE ROLE
Demand for our Functional Service Provision is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced biostatistician to join our FSP team. The position can be remote in the US or Canada.
As a biostatistician/senior biostatistician working within FSP, you will be fully integrated into our sponsor’s neuroscience division, providing that partner with hands-on technical support. The successful candidate will have previous experience programming in R and SAS, with the ability to run simulations in R.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide statistical support to the neuroscience (NS) division
• Assist with the development of statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and support other statistical activities
• Run simulations in R
• Act as a statistical consultant to the sponsor, maintaining a positive and engaging client relationship with regards to statistical issues
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• PhD or MSc in biostatistics or related discipline
• Experience working as a biostatistician within a clinical trials environment to have a good awareness of clinical trial issues, design, and implementation
• Previous experience performing statistical analysis/simulations using R and SAS
• Experience working in neuroscience is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of CDISC (SDTM/ADaM) standards would be an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with a broad range of people
• Ability to proactively identify and solve problems
