PAYROLL SPECIALIST AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM
Base Salary is $125K to $165K (based upon candidate and experience)

Solidly established Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced professional to join its U.S. Payroll Team as a Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will support the payroll processes of the firm's U.S. Entities.
We have returned to the office in a hybrid model where employees will be in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. U.S. employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree required
Five to Eight (5-8) years of Payroll-related Work Experience
At least Two (2) years of experience with End-to-End Payroll Processing with Workday is required
Solid working knowledge of Payroll Processes and related state and local tax and compliance procedures and requirements
Proficiency using Excel
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
High-level of organization and detail orientation are prerequisites
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential
Rigorous work ethic is essential
Dedicated client service mentality is essential
Analytical approach to problem solving is essential
Keen attention to detail is essential
Responsibilities Overview
You will be part of the U.S. Payroll Team in New York and will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls, as well as tax coordination, withholding and compliance, and other special projects. You will also be responsible for responding to audit queries and the aggregation of payroll and tax data. The role involves substantial interaction with other internal departments, including Human Resources, Tax Compliance, and Software Development Teams.
