Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the machine shop as well as manufacturing various parts and fixtures in the product portfolio. A strong understanding of management, machining principles, CNC machines, and precision measuring tools is required. Must be able to program, set up and run existing and brand-new parts.
- Minimum 5 years CNC Lathe experience
- Capable of reading and troubleshooting G code
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Setup and operation of both CNC lathes and mills
- Trade school training, or sufficient on the job training to perform primary duties
- Basic knowledge of Fadal CNC mills
- Knowledge of how to use SolidCAM to program lathe components
- Use of CAM in prior role
