What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Pheffer Law?
I am looking for a self motivated individual who is a team player to ensure smooth running of all office bookkeeping responsibilities. You will provide a broad spectrum of administrative and bookkeeping services under the supervision of an attorney.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communications with clients, medical providers and insurance companies.
- Manage Firm bank accounts. Write Checks, Prepare bank deposits.
- Deposits and disbursements for Client Trust Account
- Prepare payroll for 5 employees, including W-2’s and payroll tax returns
- Reconcile bank statements. prepare quickbooks generated reports
- Answer and direct phone calls
Skills
- Proven working experience as an in office bookkeeper
- At least 5 years (over last 7 years) experience working with quickbooks DESKTOP
- Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal or medical office
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
