General Summary
- The Diet Aide 2 is responsible for cashiering duties, serving of food to cafeteria and grill customers in a polite and courteous manner, stocking of supplies, keeping cafeteria and grill area and dining room clean and orderly providing quality service.
- Operates cash registers according to policy to ensure compliance.
- Reconciles cashier report per shift to ensure correct cash balances.
- Serves food to customers in a sanitary, polite, and courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction .
- Keeps food, and supplies stocked and equipment in food service areas clean and sanitized completing cleaning logs to ensure proper sanitation.
- Education
- High school education or equivalent preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Work Experience
- Three to six months of general food service and cash register experience required.

- Not Applicable
- Mental ability required to follow written and verbal instructions and perform simple math tasks. Long periods of standing and walking. Ability to read and write. Ability to learn and understand policies and procedures. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs at a time during shift.
- Will experience heat and noise from the kitchen, and ware washing areas. Will experience exposure to steam and high heat from the grill and fryer. Water, chemicals, glass breakage, wet floors and sharp knives.
