Philips is the leader in image-guided therapy, providing integrated solutions that advance minimally invasive procedures. We help healthcare providers to decide, guide, treat and confirm the right care in real time during the procedure to enable better outcomes for each patient and at population level.
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within commuting distance to the Bothell, Washington location.
As the Executive Assistant, you will support the R&D Leader for Ultrasound and the R&D site.
You are responsible for
- Agenda Management
- Mail screen incoming and outgoing mail, processing and priorities
- Organize and host meetings, events, (video) conferences, Web casts
- Create draft letters/mail/ office documents/meeting minutes/ PowerPoints
- Manage office supplies
- Archive management
- On-/Off boarding (including organization of farewells)
- Develop travel plans travel arrangements (including visa) and related expenses
- Maintain website content
- Remain knowledgeable of corporate policies
- Deal with sensitive, complex and highly confidential information
- Creating Purchase orders
- Announcements: sending out local announcements
- Train and coach (lower level) departmental assistants
- Interpret and communicate executive intent to other employees
- Serve as a contact to employees or other stakeholders inside and outside the organization
- Conduct various (analytical) special projects, especially involving budgets and preparations for Senior management meetings
- Work closely with Communications Team on Global Announcements
- Responsible for social events to activate team feeling
- Up to date database of key contacts
- Good relationships with stakeholders
- Setting right priorities (meetings/activities)
- Reduce Travel cost
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- AA degree or equivalent technical experience preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Medical device experience is preferred
- Hands on medical device assembly experience preferred
