Job Posting: Junior Level Web/Desktop Software Developer II

This role is one of a team of technical professionals who support, manage and effectively complete the detailed data analysis for Phillip Townsend Associates, Inc. Performance and Cost Metrics Benchmarking Programs.
These extensive programs involve the competitive analysis of the operations performance of major manufacturers in the petrochemical industry. Projects will range in scope from regional intra-company performance analyses, to global industry consortium studies.

Required Qualifications

• Visual Studio (2015 or later)
• VB .Net Windows Forms Applications
• PHP (v7 or later)
• Node.js (v16 or later)
• MySQL, HighCharts and HighCharts Export Server a plus but not required

Desired Qualifications include:

• 2-3 years general software development experience
• 2-3 years experience in the design, development and testing of web based applications using PHP and

Node.js.

• Strong analytical skills and commitment to quality
• The ability to work in a team or as an individual on several concurrent projects
• Mature, sound judgment, self motivated, team player, positive attitude.
• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written) required.
• Must have current legal authorization to work in the United States.
• This position is not supported by a company relocation expense package.
• Flexible schedule

Major Activities include:

• Interface effectively with managers to identify software enhancement opportunities and resolve problems/issues both Web and VB .Net desktop applications.
• Develop, test and install software solutions
• Participate in VB.NET coding and testing for a new system
• Assist with the implementation of approved security measures for the entire Company
• Assist in creating/designing applications and tools for company users.
• Providing support as needed to company users for the developed applications and tools.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
