Job Purpose
PHINIA is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a National Fleet Manager Heavy Duty (HD) Commercial Vehicle (CV) – Midwest/Central/South Central/West US Region supporting the Delco Remy brand.
The National Fleet manager will primarily be responsible for PHINIA’s Fleet Starter & Alternator business, representing the company to the highest standards, building sustainable and intimate customer relationships to support the goals and objectives of our organization. The Fleet Manager establishes, maintains, and grows customer relationships with national accounts, regional accounts, OEM dealers, and other strategic customers. In addition to growing sales and expanding market share, responsibilities will include management activities for heavy duty product programs, features and technical training in assigned territory.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all commercial sales activities for PHINIA’s Fleet Defined Area for Starter & Alternator business
- Achieve annual sales budget (revenue, growth, and margin) with assigned Key Fleet Accounts, Regional Fleet Accounts, Dealers & Dealer Groups.
- Create and maintain a business plan for the designated territory and customers
- Establish and maintain a regular customer sales call pattern with existing and new customers
- Monitor market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments and communicate relevant information
- Develop, coordinate and conduct customer sales/product/training meetings and presentations proficiently
- Introduce and manage key product launches
- Attend industry and customer trade shows to strengthen the PHINIA/Delco Remy brand name
- Successfully communicate key information with customers and corporate personnel as required
- Bachelor's degree Business, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred
- 3-7 years’ NA HD CV experience in sales in the Commercial Vehicle industry / similar channels of distribution
- Able to travel 50% of the time.
- Knowledge of the market trends and the implications of those trends for the industry, customers, markets, and competition
- Knowledge of aftermarket channels of distribution, buying groups and organizations/associations
- Understanding of how sales interrelate with other functions in the organization
- Excellent presentation skills to various levels of management/leadership
- Exhibit high credibility and trustworthiness to customers and to the company—maintain healthy balance between the customer and company
- Strong selling and negotiating skills—establish relationships with customers
- High endurance and energy level—work until the customer/companies needs are met
