As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers, producing quality leads, booking meetings and creating sales opportunities for Phocas Account Executives. The BD Representative will support global company revenue goals and/or in their regional marketplace, as such the position may require working a variable schedule to assist team members across different time zones.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Ability to adapt and maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex environment.
What you’ll do to grow fast and have fun:
- Lead inbound & outbound prospecting efforts through various channels such as email, phone, social media and CRM (HubSpot).
- Proactively engage prospective customers who meet our target profile.
- Articulate the Phocas business value proposition to decision makers, evaluating their use case, purchase time frames, pain/gain points and assess buying interest.
- Collaborate with relevant partners to generate quality leads from their customer base.
- Coordinate introductory conversations and sales demo/ presentations with Account Executives and where possible participate to inform, educate and help close deals.
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute highly effective business development campaigns.
- Understand industry segments served and keep abreast of development in the market and/or region.
- Stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements and product offerings.
- Attend trade shows and other industry events to showcase Phocas products/ solutions.

Compensation for the position depends on experience. A fully qualified candidate can expect a total comp between $60,000 and $80,000 (including base and incentives).
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
