Essential Functions
- Create work orders based on demand in ERP system in accordance with available resources
- Update promise dates on sales orders in ERP system when new Production orders are created
- Release and print production orders, including documents pulled from physical or electronic files
- Assemble job packets for production area including drawings and other required documentation
- Review and post labor utilized on production orders to ERP system
- Review and post material consumption utilized on production orders to ERP system
- Utilize ERP software to perform all assigned planning functions
- Print and scan job packet documentation
- Continuously improve printing processes, work area organization, etc.
- Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system
- Comply with all Health and Safety practices including those for the use of PPE
- Provide reports as required to the Production Manager and others throughout the organization
- Coordinate with necessary departments when barriers arise in planning process
- Interact with all departments including Sales, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Applications Engineering and Supply Chain to overcome challenges and move us towards our goal of operational excellence

Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use ERP software to demonstrate understanding of items, bills of material, routings, planning parameters, production orders, labor collection, inventory consumption and output
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and glean important details such as dimensions, work instructions, prohibitions and specifications
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or calendar form
- Ability to operate a computer, tablet, or equivalent to enter data related to the progress of production, issues with process, performance or documentation related to the work of staff, or to print or complete required documentation work or the work of peers, or to print or complete required documentation
- Ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and BC 365
- Ability to use and office printer and scanner
- Ability to communicate quickly and clearly with other departments when there are changes to the plan
- Ability to be proactive and take the initiative to problem-solve and/or mitigate risk(s)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Self-directed
- Schedule flexibility and adaptability to priority changes
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prefer an associate degree or some college experience
- One year or more of related experience in manufacturing and working with an ERP is desirable

Salary : $20 - $23
