Phoenix Welding has multiple full-time positions available. We are a travel-based organization and our geographic coverage areas include all of New England, Upstate NY, and special project assignments in the south east for our larger national accounts base.

• All applicants must be willing to travel, in most cases 3 to 4 weeks on the road with 1 week off rest time intervals depending on location and time duration of projects.
• Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to work in adverse weather conditions.

• Candidates must adhere to all company as well as customer job site safety protocol, rules policies and procedures as required by company and customer management.

• Must be a team player and have a positive, kick-butt attitude.

Qualifications:

• Will assist others in all trades.
• Safely operate hand and power tools of various types.

• Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical medical exam, possess a valid driver’s license and pass mandatory random drug screening.

• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.

• Equipment operation, heavy construction, industrial or concrete experience is a plus.

• Candidates must be proficient in English with regard to verbal and writing skills.

• A basic knowledge of computer or smart phone communication skills, email, texting, etc, is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

• Experienced worker’s hourly salary will be based on candidate’s level of experience, attitude and effectiveness.
• Typical entry level starting pay for candidates is $18 per hour.

• In addition to base pay, Phoenix provides its travel crews daily on road per diem for meals, covers 100% of overnight hotel stays with individual rooms, as well as fuel reimbursement for travel to and from designated work sites.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
