CMS Architect | Las Vegas, NV  (Onsite) | Fulltime/Contract 

As a CMS Contentful Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the architecture of our content management system using Contentful. Your deep technical expertise and strategic vision will drive the development of a robust and scalable CMS solution, enabling us to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our customers.

What will you do?

• Lead the architecture design and implementation of our content management system using Contentful. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, content creators, and product managers, to define and execute effective content strategies within the CMS. 
• Define content modeling, entry types, content types, webhooks, and integrations to ensure the CMS meets current and future needs. 
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for the CMS architecture. 
• Ensure that the architecture is scalable, secure, and follows best practices for performance and maintainability. 
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to developers working on the CMS. 
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between the CMS and other systems or APIs. 
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to CMS platforms, web development, and architecture. 
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and align the CMS architecture with business goals. 

What are we looking for? 

• Proven experience as a CMS Contentful Developer or Architect, with a strong track record of designing and leading the development of content management systems.
• Extensive experience working with Contentful, including content modeling, entry types, content types, and webhooks.
• Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue).
• Previous experience in an architect or senior developer role, showcasing strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
