What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at Physician's Group LLC?
Our legal assistants handle complex tasks that are critical to the success of our law offices. As a part of our team, you will rely on your experience to provide administrative support to our attorneys by preparing legal documents and correspondences, such as motions and pleadings. Experience using an electronic case management system – while not required – will help manage attorney calendars, schedule and coordinate examination(s) for defense experts, and communicate with clients regarding relevant aspects of the case. Among other things, you will spend time maintaining files, answering phone calls, along with other assigned administrative duties.
Job Requirements:
- One-year prior legal work experience in a business or legal environment supporting a professional team.
- Knowledge of Florida Personal Injury Protection Statute 627.732.
- Time management and organizational skills required to provide support to professionals.
- Typing skills with particular attention to grammar and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining highly confidential information.
- Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Salary : $1,800 - $2,000
