What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sauté Chef position at Pia’s?
Pia’s has expanded with it’s new adjacent property to additionally accommodate guests without reservations. Recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s iconic restaurants, our guests come from all over the Tampa Bay Area to enjoy classic Italian cuisine. A biweekly changing featured menu adds to our regular menu options which keeps it interesting for both our guests and culinary staff.
With our expansion of the adjacent properties, Pia’s is adding additional Sauté Chefs to our culinary staff. We're seeking talented and energetic Chefs to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidates for this position have previous experience working in a busy cooking environment, a strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for food preparation and the ability to maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor food quality.
- Preparation of both regular and special menu items
- Preparation of sauté station
- Sauté
Qualifications:
- 3 years sauté
