Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit

- Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and meats following food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, including display cases and workstations
- Assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and locating items in the deli section
- Promote special offers, upsell products, and ensure customers are aware of promotions
- Handle cash transactions securely and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient deli operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic math for calculating totals, change, and discounts
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sanitate work areas effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
