Job Purpose
Collaborates with RN Lactation Consultant and other members of the healthcare team to promote and support breastfeeding. Responsible for daily rounding on all breastfeeding couplets and assisting with overall coordination, planning, and management of patient, family, and staff education related to breastfeeding.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School or GED
Minimum Experience Required
None
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
Must be an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
Additional Qualifications
Must be an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Experience in a healthcare setting preferred. AHA CPR Certification. Certified Nursing Assistant
