Job Title: Busser/Food Runner
Department: Front Of House
Reports To: Assistant General Manager
Summary:
The Busser is responsible for providing support to the waitstaff by clearing tables, setting tables, and restocking supplies. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining room.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clear tables of used dishes, silverware, and glasses.
- Scrape and stack dishes for washing.
- Wipe down tables and chairs.
- Set tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Restock supplies such as napkins, straws, condiments, and silverware.
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
