Business Warehouse Analyst, SAP BI/BW

1. The SAP BW Analyst is primarily responsible for the design, build, test and implementation of systems that enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives.
2. This position works directly with analysts and business users to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, which are further utilized to facilitate the full implementation life cycle.
3. As a key member of the BW Team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to learn many aspects of the business as well as the SAP data warehousing systems.
4. Configuration, coding, data modeling and reporting writing using SAP BEx and BObj tools Identifying gaps and working with the business in developing functional specs
5. Testing and evaluation of new BW functionality
6. Production support of existing BW functionality
7. Provide on‐call support on a rotating basis
8. Business process analysis, documentation, and presentation.
9. Interaction with users from various functional areas (order management, supply chain, finance, etc.)
10. Translating end‐user requirements into detailed specifications.
11. Interaction with technical resources to define technical requirements.
12. Development of complete functional requirements specification, including business impact and ROI.
13. Coordinate and assist in development and execution of system conversions.
14. Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end‐state deliverable
15. Develop and drive the implementation of BW best practices and standards for the team.
16. Develop, create, enhance, monitor, and schedule (where appropriate) BW 7.x objects.
17. Perform program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing

Bachelor's of Technology, Electronics & Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent. 5 years minimum experience in SAP BW / HANA /Azure specifically in processes around wholesale distribution and retail; Business analysis and reporting; working with end‐users to translate business requirements into systems specifications; SAP BW 7.x development including strong knowledge of BW Administrator Workbench, modeling, Open Hub, APD, ABAP Programming, reporting writing and publishing to SAP Portal; data visualization tools like PowerBI, Analysis for Office, Business Objects WebI and Design Studio tools is required; SAP ECC module extractors SD, MM, FI, CO‐PA; BW Security especially use of authorization objects and analysis authorizations for report writing; BW on HANA and HANA information view ( Calculation, Attribute and Analytic Views) is required; SAP BPC, Budgeting, Planning, Consolidation and Reporting. M‐F, 40hrs/wk.
