What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Radiology, Full Time, Salaried position at PIH Health Whittier Hospital?
Radiology Supervisor is responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations of the Radiology modalities and/or areas identified by department director. The role is to assist the radiology department in performing daily rounds in specified areas while developing performance metrics for continuous monitoring of core department processes. In addition, assists in overseeing the area’s continuous, effective operation and improvement of its activities.

Required Skills
- Technical skills in general radiography with emphasis on positioning.
- Computer skills to operate MS Office Suite and within RIS/HIS/PACS/EMR
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to establish business relationships with referring clinicians to understand their needs.
- Team building and facilitator skills.
Required Experience
Required:
- CRT and ARRT or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital of Health Administration
- Four (4) years’ experience in a Radiology Leadership role
- CPR/BLS – Basic Life Support
