Piller Aimmco Inc., a leading manufacturer in the injection molding and tooling industry is immediately hiring for our full time Process Technician Apprentice position.

This is an Apprenticeship position. Apprentices shall be full time employees of Piller Aimmco. Apprentices will train on one of our 12 hour day shifts while enrolled in the program and will be assigned to a shift after the program is complete. By accepting a position in the Apprenticeship program, the employee must be willing to work day shift or night shift depending on the needs of the company.

Duties: Each apprentice shall satisfactorily perform all work duties and learning assignments both on the job and in related instructional training classes.

Program Outline (3 Phases): To be able to advance to the next phase, employees are required to learn all job duties for the current position and be deemed proficient by the Supervisor of that department along with the Production Manager and General Manager. Pay progression with each completed phase. Employees that are unable to move on to the next step in the program will be placed in the first available position of which the employee has passed proficiencies.

  • Phase 1:

o Machine Operator: 1 month

o Floor Material Handler: 2 months

o Warehouse Material Handler: 2 months

  • Phase 2:

o Quality Control: 1 month

o Set-up Technician: 6 months

o Fit and Finish: 1-2 months

  • Phase 3:

o Process Technician: 12-18 months
