Loan Operations Officer

Pima Federal Credit Union of Tucson, AZ is looking to hire a full-time Loan Operations Officer. LOAN OPERATIONS OFFICER POSITION

Our Loan Operations Officers are enthusiastic about providing exceptional service to our members and consumers within the community. They provide consumer loan support and servicing for the Credit Union team and directly to our membership. They answer phone inquiries such as providing members and/or third parties with loan payoff quotes and work with insurance agents and members to assists in cases of vehicle total losses.

Attention to detail is key in this role to confirm loan files are complete and maintained accurately. Our Loan Operations Officers file CUNA GAP, Deductible Assistance and Payment Protection claims, and post claim payments. They are also responsible for processing more complex loan payoffs that require interest adjustments and/or additional proceeds from third parties and assist with releasing vehicle titles and working VINtek title exception reports.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOAN OPERATIONS OFFICER

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in a financial institution; one year lending or loan servicing.
• Knowledge of consumer loan documentation and servicing requirements.
• Knowledge of loan products, policies, procedures, and relevant lending regulations.
• PC proficient with a good working knowledge of common software applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of the Meridian Link loan origination system preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Symitar (Episys) core system preferred.
• Working knowledge of the VINtek or similar electronic lien tracking system preferred.
