Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

Pinchiff Mechanical Project Managers are responsible for the successful execution and management of both Design-Build and Plan-Spec projects from inception to completion. They are the primary point of contact between the company and our clients and must at all times represent Pinchiff Mechanical in a professional and knowledgeable manner. They must possess excellent communication skills along with all of the technical background and skills that are required for these type of projects.

Job Requirements

  • Assist with and prepare project proposals and estimates.
  • Participate in and manage pre-construction phase of sold projects.
  • Prepare and issue project work packages to field staff complete with all pertinent information required to maximize the success of the project.
  • Manage project budget, schedule and scope in order to maximize customer satisfaction and company ROI.
  • Estimate and prepare change orders.
  • Quality control and project close out.
  • Customer relations.

Qualification Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of commercial mechanical systems – mechanical engineering background or degree a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the mechanical contracting industry.
  • HVAC and plumbing systems estimating experience required.
  • Sales and business development experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills including working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to affectively handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
