Pine Island Club Country in Charlotte, NC is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of General Manager. Qualified candidates will have extensive Food and Beverage knowledge and be highly focused on providing superior service for members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities of the General Manager:

  • Manages budgets, revenue goals and expenses as well as managing monthly forecasts.
  • Monitors financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensures the implementation of all company policies, including but not limited to sales, accounting, human resources and membership policies.
  • Ensures all Human Resources procedures and policies are followed by management staff.
  • Develops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan and initiates improvements as necessary.
  • Oversees the care and maintenance of all the facility’s physical assets.
  • Coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility’s services to potential customers.
  • Ensures the highest standards for food and beverage service on property.
  • Implements policies and procedures for multiple departments, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Directly manages department managers that may include, but is not limited to: Head Golf Professional, Golf Course Superintendent, Membership Director, Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Manager, Catering Sales Director.
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.

Qualified Candidates will possess three to five years hospitality/club management experience with strong leadership and hospitality skills.

Pine Island Country Club is an exclusive, full-service, family-oriented private country club. The facilities at Pine Island Country Club are only available for the exclusive use of individuals, families and corporations who have private memberships. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
