What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Supervisor -Southwest position at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services?
Provides and oversees administrative support and staff for our Southwest/Grandville Clinic. Successful candidates are relationship driven and skilled at anticipating needs and follow-up with limited supervision.
- This is a full-time, 40 hour position.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day operation of the office/support staff.
- Develop performance plans and on-going monitoring of performance of assigned staff. Coordinates, prepares and conducts job performance evaluations for current and probationary support staff.
- Plans and implements assigned projects, with program- or organization-wide significance.
- Gathers, interprets, and summarizes data and information; uses data to develop administrative and statistical reports. Composes confidential and sensitive reports, contracts, and records. Assists in monitoring department budgets and accounts. May handle high-level information to internal and external customers.
- Calculates charges, collects and verifies chargeable therapies, procedures and follows up on balances accordingly. Reconcile receipts to be reimbursed.
- Responsible to create a customer friendly environment and fielding any customer complaints.
- Coordinates meetings and projects with internal/external sources.
- Assists Clinic Manager with budgetary needs. May be responsible for maintaining accounts payable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hiring and training new/current staff.
- Performing ongoing staff supervision and completing yearly reviews.
- Monitoring staff performance and delegating tasks as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Position requires a minimum of three years of supervisory work experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment
- Completion of high school and additional training related to duties above.
Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities:
- A high level of decision-making skills in order to find solutions to technical problems, to explain & enforce procedures, etc.
- Strong organizational skills are required to prioritize a variety of job tasks and functions.
- Proficiency of electronic systems is required perform tasks using data and/or ability to learn systems.
- Excellent communication skills are needed due to frequent exposure to internal and external customers.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in order to ensure 100% compliance.
