POSITION SUMMARY:
Pinewood School is seeking an experienced full-time Creative Production Lead to support its mission in the communications department. The Creative Production Lead is a dynamic and multifaceted role, designed for a creative professional who excels in graphic design, photography, videography, and digital content creation. This individual will collaborate across departments to bring outsourced design and media projects in-house, while also developing new initiatives that enhance the school’s visual and digital presence.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graphic Design:
· Design and produce digital and print materials, including viewbooks, impact reports, giving guides, auction materials, and signage
· Develop logos, classroom and campus signage, and promotional artwork for various school initiatives
· Collaborate with the Admissions, Development, and Marketing teams to ensure visual consistency across all platforms
Photography:
· Capture day-to-day moments, events, and sports activities across all three campuses
· Provide high-quality images for use in publications, social media, and promotional materials
· Oversee event photography, ensuring all significant school events are documented visually
Videography:
· Write, produce, script, shoot, and edit promotional videos for admissions, development and marketing campaigns
· Develop creative video content that highlights the school’s programs, culture, and community
· Collaborate with various departments to produce videos that support the school’s mission and goals
Social Media & Digital Content:
· Design and produce content for internet and social media ads, enhancing the school’s online presence
· Assist with website management as needed, ensuring visual content aligns with the school’s branding
Project Management:
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
· Work collaboratively with different departments to understand their needs and deliver creative solutions
· Oversee the production process for all creative materials, including print and digital, ensuring a cohesive and professional look across all platforms
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to spend long hours in stationary positions, using computers and office equipment
- Ability to move from place to place and communicate/exchange information accurately and effectively with others in person and on the phone
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field is strongly preferred
- 3 years of experience in graphic design, photography, videography, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design, photography, and video production
- Demonstrated creativity and a strong eye for design and visual storytelling
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong project management abilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design and editing tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation for digital marketing
- Website management experience is a plus
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary range is $80,000-$100,000 annually. Pinewood offers comprehensive benefits to employees.
