What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Pink House - West Cornwall?
The Pink House is a new hospitality-driven Seasonal American restaurant in West Cornwall, CT on the bank of the Housatonic River.
We bring in beautiful products from our community and use traditional and modern techniques to make what we think is some pretty tasty food and drink and a great time. And we need experienced line cooks to be a part of our opening team in late May!
REQUIREMENTS
- Have at least 2 years experience in a similar position in restaurants you feel proud of
- Be excited to work a busy station during busy services in a busy restaurant!
- Be comfortable caring for special ingredients and products, using them carefully and getting the most flavor with the least amount of waste
- Be a great cook and have fun doing it
- Be ready to learn. We need people that are driven and self-motivated, but also be able to take direction well from Executive Chef, managers and the rest of the team
- Be reliable, punctual, professional and committed to being a part of the team
- You must have flexible availability to work nights and weekends. It’s a restaurant. We work when other people want to have dinner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on on experience and position
Expected hours: 35 – 45d per week
