Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate: 23/hour
Location: Tyler SC 1300 SSE Loop 323
On Site Contract Duration: 6 months to 1 year
Daily Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Description: The incumbent will work with the Oncor East District Distribution Department and provide clerical and administrative support primarily associated with damage claim recovery. Responsibilities include damage claim processing understanding work request WR processing updating related database information monthly damage claims reporting handling customer information appropriately processing invoices participating in meetings and/or conference calls and various other tasks as requested. Duties will also require working with various systems such as OCR Maximo Enterprise SLOTS and MS Office Suite. Working with the designated computer reporting system for time reporting will also be required. Requirements: middot Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook Strong organizational analytical interpersonal and oral/written skills Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements Ability to learn Oncor computer applications including OCR Maximo Enterprise SLOTS and other ancillary systems needed for daily work Maintain proper documentation for tracking the progress of claims Investigate discrepancies in order to ensure that processed request align with field assets Help prepare and develop reports as requested by management Promote best practices by continuously evaluating methods techniques and software used in the role Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Capable of working with people of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience Must be able to effectively prioritize work and multi-task to complete assignments on time Perform other duties that may be assigned to this position either directly by management or through others Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Some college college degree or certificate is a plus Preferred Experience: 3 years of administrative support experience in an office environment
Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
