Reports to the Director, FF&E Strategic Sourcing. The duration of the contract is 12 months with potential for extension. Primary responsibilities are to negotiate, execute, and manage supplier partnerships for clients Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) programs. The contractor is responsible for providing critical expertise to internal and external stakeholders on the development and maintenance of clients FF&E programs.
Position Summary:
Work independently in key areas of supplier management, product development, and program management for assigned categories.
Manage FF&E sourcing initiatives, including bidding, analysis, supplier negotiations, coordination of design reviews, and award recommendations.
Support product development through the review of product specifications, drawings and working with design teams and suppliers on value engineering.
Evaluate and recommend suppliers, including evaluating product quality, production capability, sales and support capabilities, and financial stability.
Act as a subject matter expert for the categories assigned and provide insight and innovation to internal client departments, including the development of Brand Standards.
Partner with the Responsible Sourcing team to implement solutions toward clients Travel with Purpose 2030 sustainability goals. Proactively engage with suppliers to cultivate diverse opportunities.
Monitor and manage suppliers for quality, cost, and performance throughout the program life cycle, functioning as the primary point of contact for quality, performance, and supply chain issues.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Education: Four (4) year college degree or comparable experience
Minimum Years of Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience
Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years of procurement, product development, and/or interior design experience
Management Experience (type): Managerial, process
Minimum Years of Management Experience: Two (2) years
Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): Occasional travel
Minimum Years of Experience: Five (5) years of hospitality, procurement, product development, interior design, and/or furniture experience
