WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Van Driver is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of resident community appointments, and the arranging and scheduling transportation to the Bus station, DSHS, health services appointments, and when available, appointments requested by case management.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be sensitive, receptive, and mature enough to be neither upset by the residents, nor cause the residents further adjustment difficulties.
- Must be able to make positive use of professional supervision, function effectively in an interdisciplinary team approach, and participate in, and profit from in-service and on-the job training
- The Van Driver must maintain an attitude toward interactions with residents that is objective, free from personal bias; one that allows for perspective and flexibility in observing groups and individual behavior patterns.
