Pioneer Fleet Services is dedicated to providing safe and reliable assets to its drivers while maximizing asset utilization. This role is the crucial link between Sales and Operations, which drives our ability to service our customers as scheduled. This position requires a high-level of vendor and mechanic interaction. This role works closely with the Fleet Manager and is responsible for the state of Colorado. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers
- Inventory control for all Colorado Fleet locations or Mobile units.
- Ensure all parts are in Fleet maintenance system with correct pricing
- Source parts or supplies from vendors as needed
- Develop vendor relationships
- Conduct quarterly inventory count
- Notifies the service writer and Lead Mechanics when special ordered parts have been received
- Follows up on back-ordered parts
- Issues credit for parts returned
- Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
- Unloads deliveries and stocks shelves
- Backfill Service Writer position as needed
- Promptly return missed phone calls and emails.
- Execute Fleet initiatives and strategies as directed.
- Assist in handling paperwork, billing, and other administrative activities.
- Other duties and training as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLLS & ABILITES: The technical skills, formal education, and relevant work experience critical for successful individual performance of Essential Functions
Self-starter, high capacity for managing multiple work streams at the same time
Strong analytical and fact-based problem-solving skills
Proven track record in customer service with the ability to move quickly and bring a sense of urgency to the business
Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint as tools to communicate, with experience leading presentations for senior leadership
Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, EPA, and OSHA guidelines
Excellent communication skills; including written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Experience with Fleet Maintenance software a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years of experience in the Fleet Maintenance
At least 3 years in Customer Service
