Job description
Janitorial position to maintain a clean and appealing hotel the outside perimeter and common areas inside according to policy standards. On this team a reliable member works every day as scheduled, shows up for work on time, consistently meets deadlines and pitches in wherever and whenever needed. This position will require you to work 3-4 days a week.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work 8 AM - 3 PM and other hours as necessary, must be available for a flexible weekday schedule, and must be available weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean the perimeter of the building and parking lot, Pick up trash and empty outside trash barrels. Clean cigarette ash receptacles as needed.
- Check trash cans in all public areas.
- Service Areas: guest laundry, elevator, guest bathrooms.
- Pick-up/drop-off towels from Exercise Room and Pool Room.
- Pool: Straighten up pool furniture daily. Clean furniture as needed.
- Help housekeepers take out trash and dump laundry.
- Landscaping work as needed: leaf removal, shoveling and spreading ice melt.
- Assist with preventative maintenance.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
- Wear proper uniform.
- Must be detail oriented.
Applicant should have basic/entry level working knowledge and hands on experience of the following:
- Guest rooms repairs as needed, plumbing, basic electrical and painting
- General Housekeeping
- Basic pool maintenance
- Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
