What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Imaging position at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District?
Under the supervision of the Chief of Radiology and Chief Logistics and Support Services Officer performs administrative duties of supervision within the department of radiology. Act in concert with the Chief of Radiology to provide quality services to patients. Relates to the department managers to promote continuity among the radiology staff and other hospital departments. Responsible for coordination of departmental activities, technology, staff, and ancillary personnel. Responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures for the operation of the department.
Requirements
- BA in health care field or equivalent. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and California Registered Technologist (CRT).
- 5 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, and to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Require Certified Radiologic Technologist (California) & Fluoroscopy Permit (California).
- Current CPR certification required.
