Piper Companies is currently looking for a Billing Account Manager to join a health-centered billing company located in Brandford, CT.
The primary responsibility of the Billing Account Manager is the overall management and day to day operations of the client account and support staff.
Responsibilities of the Billing Account Manager
- Responsible for managing all tasks related to the Billing, Follow-up and Collections functions for clients assigned
- Supervise and facilitate all processes, policies and procedures, workflow, quality, productivity, overall team motivation and effectiveness, professional development and training.
- Create procedures for all tasks required to meet the expectations of the client. Prepare written policies and procedures where needed throughout the organization and as it applies to the client account.
- Develop training processes to use with externs, new hires and existing staff – webinars, group training, individual training and observing within each work group, and provide written procedures with training along
Qualifications of the Billing Account Manager
- 5 years’ experience in a medical office environment
- Certified in medical coding (CPT4 and ICD9/ICD10), Medical Billing and Procedures – required
- Experience with Windows applications – specifically Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication, verbal and written and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma – required
Compensation for the Billing Account Manager
- Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
