What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOC Analyst (Night Shift; CI poly clearance required) position at Piper Companies?
Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Cyber Security Watch Officer in Springfield, VA to assist with maintaining the NRO command center. This position does require shift work full time on site Wed-Sat 10pm-8am.
Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include:
· Monitoring and reporting operations to senior military officials
· Incident handling, triage of events, trend analysis, metric development, vulnerability information dissemination
· Overseeing network analysis and threat detection
· Working independently in an environment that requires 24/7 supervision
· Provide knowledge of DoD Computer Network Defense and brief findings to senior leaders
Qualifications for the Cyber Security Watch Officer Include:
· Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Cyber Security
· DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II
· If no degree, 4 years of working experience is acceptable
· Experience using WireShark for packet capture analysis
· SIEM tool experience (Splunk or ArcSight is a plus)
· Active TS/SCI w/ CI poly clearance
Compensation for the Cyber Security Watch Officer includes:
· Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000/year depending on experience
