Software Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support a federal program on-site in Elizabeth, North Carolina. The Software Engineer will participate in the full SDLC as a part of a team as they develop various systems and applications.

Responsibilities for the Software Engineer include:

• Integrate hardware and software into applications and operating systems.
• Performe requirements acquistion, customize applications, and research emerging technologies.
• Write, modify, and maintain user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• Test various computer and network systems.
• Debug operating systems and applications, desing, code, test, and integrate various software systems.
  
  

Required Qualifications for the Software Engineer include:

• 2 years of experience with software engineering, desing, code, test, and documentation
• Experience with SQL using Ingres and/or Oracle Technologies
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, command line/Vi Editor, and Agile, Jira, and GIT
• Experience with SQL Developer and/or TOAD
• Active Secret Clearance
  
  

Compensation for the Software Engineer include:

• $33-35/hr
