Network Technician

Network Technician ($21-$27 per hour)

Basic Requirements:

· Overnight installations

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Ability to pass a background check

· Reliable transportation

· A smartphone & cell phone plan

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

· Must have own basic networking tools (Punch, Scissors, Push Rods, Drill)

· 2 Years Structured Cabling Experience (Low-Voltage Cert Preferred)

· 2 Years Experience terminating Fiber/Coax/Category Cable (Industry Certs Preferred)

· Comfortable driving panel vans & transporting equipment

· Ability to work off a lift

· OSHA10 Preferred

· Familiarity with Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel)

· Proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems

· Excellent time management skills

Our Network Refresh Teams are on the ground delivering services directly to the client. As a Network Field Tech your responsibilities include:

· Installing Network Data Racks

· Installing Network Equipment & Access Points

· Pulling/Terminating CAT5/CAT6 ethernet

· Reading blueprints/wiring diagrams to pull drops to correct locations.

· Reading/Reviewing Survey documents

· Maintaining neat cable management on all cable pulls.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Completing all required paperwork/deliverables for each site completed

· Decom of all old cabling

· Familiarity with Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel)

· Proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems

· Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No weekends
