What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finishing Operator position at Piping Rock?
Role's Purpose: Under the direction of the Print Room Supervisor, the Finishing Operator will operate an ABG Digicon press to finish labels produced by our digital printing press. Responsibilities: Operate equipment and machines in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to safe work practicesRead job tickets and perform machine setups to correctly apply specific coating or laminationFill out the necessary forms and documentation of finished jobs in compliance with cGMP guidelinesMaintain constant checks throughout production run for quality controlPerform daily machine maintenance and preventative machine maintenanceMaintain die platesMust keep work area clean, clear, and organizedMaintain good housekeeping standardsPerform other duties as assigned by managementComplies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendanceAdditional duties as assigned Requirements: Knowledge of digital printing, finishing or slitting experience. Using ABG Digicon press.
