We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources for our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lexington, KY.
Purpose of the Role
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive human resources related initiatives, and proactively providing strategic and tactical HR related guidance and consultation across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains effective partnerships within the business
- Designs and delivers high quality, effective HR solutions to address needs, gaps, and development opportunities across all levels within the organization
- Partners with leaders within multiple client groups to understand the core capabilities needed to drive business results and translate into actionable developmental plans for functional teams
- Provide ongoing support to business leaders by serving as "sounding board" in both a business and people-related capacity.
- Utilize consulting skills to influence, coach and provide feedback to employees at all levels
- Partner with business groups to focus on building the Company’s culture, including team development, conflict resolution and fostering an environment of open feedback and communication
- Drive consistency in administering human resources policies and procedures to ensure that employees receive appropriate and equitable treatment
- Advises and coaches leaders to implement effective performance management practices to create and sustain a high-performance workforce
- Collaborates with leadership team to address complex employee relations issues, including management of the process and employee communication
- Implements and communicates HR support to that will benefit the strategic growth of the business
- Plans and directs the organization's recruitment, selection and placement of qualified team members
- Ensures implementation and administration of succession planning program
- Develops, implements and administers fair and equitable reward systems that meet the strategic and competitive demands of the business
- Serves as the site's point of contact with key regulatory agencies (e.g: EEOC, DOL, state unemployment office, legal counsel, etc)
- Collaborate effectively with corporate HR team to implement company-wide initiatives, systems, programs

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field
- MBA with concentration in Human Resource Management preferred
- Certification credential from HRCI or SHRM, SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience leading comprehensive HR related activities, preferably in a biotech/ pharmaceutical/ manufacturing organization
