Piros Signs Inc. of St. Louis, MO and Jefferson City seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sign Sales Executive to target local project opportunities and developments by leading sales efforts throughout the area and the communities we serve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s services, products and pricing structure
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of market behavior and competitive trends
- Identify, develop, and sell sign and branding solutions to local businesses and developers; own the full sales process from prospecting to closing
- Acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling and business-to-business marketing visits
- Develop new business that meets targeted margin levels; coordinate with internal sources to manage pricing while qualifying business opportunities as you go
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments during the new business process
- Transition new account effectively to the project management team
- Reviews prepared contracts for business negotiated to ensure requirements are accurate and are submitted as scheduled
- Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts in accordance with company plans; communicate with all appropriate levels of staff regarding business activities
- Maintain prospect list and data relevant to projects and accounts
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, entrepreneurship or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 yrs. experience in Business to Business sales is a plus
- Knowledge of the sign industry or custom metal fabrication is preferred
- PC proficiency with MS Office and Google Docs
- Formal sales methodology & training experience a plus
- Documented, proven history of aggressively growing sales and exceeding quotas annually
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with strategic sales and account management
- Experience with a CRM
- As this role could require some travel on behalf of the company, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required. This role could also be subject to an annual motor vehicle record review
- Top notch communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, with service driven professionalism
