This is a hybrid position, you would be able to work at home a few days and in the office for a few days in Dublin, CA.
The Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for leading all inventory planning for the Store Operations Fixture Purchasing team across all Ross and dd’s stores. These responsibilities include the development of fixture inventory forecasts across all Store Operations fixture projects and rollouts, ongoing communication of on hand inventory levels and recommendations for mitigating shortages and obsolescence. Analyst will make recommendations for saving costs and optimizing the fixture and fixture vendor portfolio. Analyst will also be responsible for creating all fixture commitments for import vendors, ensuring adequate lead time for executive review/approval, production, and shipping. Analyst will support ad hoc data requests to support the Fixture Purchasing and Store Operations team.
Inventory Planning and Management
· Forecasts fixture inventory needs across all store operations business, including New Stores, Remodels, Special Projects, Field discretionary accounts (RVP discretionary and Small Fixture requests), and fixture rollouts (i.e., Store Refresh program).
· Owns development, calendaring, and execution of domestic and import inventory commitments that meet all project execution timelines.
· Maintains and routinely communicates on-hand inventory levels and makes recommendations to avoid shortages and mitigate liability from slow moving and/or obsolete inventory (i.e., SMOI).
· Identifies opportunities to save costs and simplify the overall fixture portfolio by rationalizing sku’s across Ross and dd’s and analyzing usage against cost.
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to ensure proper allocation between Direct Import Vendors is maintained
Process Management
· Owns development and documentation of all fixture inventory processes. Routinely assesses execution of fixture inventory, designs feedback loops to identify process gaps and opportunities, develops and implements recommendation in partnership with supervisor
Manage the accuracy of fixture list and descriptions entered in PeopleSoft. Consistently checks and cleans up PeopleSoft system by deleting old/obsolete fixture part numbers.
Inventory Tools
· Lead the creation and maintenance of Inventory Management tools to optimize cost, freight, and availability
Manage inventory quantities for all import vendors and ensure that commitments are made in a timely manner
Fixture Purchasing
· Support the Fixture Purchasing team by assisting in Purchase Order creation where needed (ie, New Store Windows, Merchandising Rollouts, etc.)
Ad hoc fixture pricing, summary project pricing, and quarterly purchase obligations
Vendor Management
· Develop relationships with vendors to collaborate on fixture forecasts and inventory needs
· Lead quarterly calls with fixture vendors to review inventory levels and forecasts
