Production Planner
Summary :
The Production Planner is responsible for driving continuous improvement in on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, production transactions, and optimization of production routings and workflow processes.
This position will manage the daily activities of the production
planning / scheduling
within the Sign Shop and is responsible for the administrative aspects of receiving sign sales and production orders, pulling together all information necessary to produce the orders, and delivering a prioritized package of documents to the shop supervisors that are ready to be executed.
This position works closely with the retail sales team, 3D construction team, and the Sign Shop to make sure all jobs are processed in time to meet customer due dates.
Contributory responsibilities include supporting the Manager Manufacturing & Logistics with miscellaneous tasks along with other duties as the need may require coordination such as non-sign retail order processing and tracking for the company.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Minimum of three (3) years of directly related
planning / scheduling
experience or equivalent education. Excellent Microsoft Excel and MRP skills are required. Experience with construction ERP systems, including Vista is a plus
